Villars-Epeney

Villars- Epeney is a municipality in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Geography

Villars- Epeney is located on 548 m above sea level. M., 5 km east of the district capital Yverdon- les- Bains ( straight line ). The farming village extends on the slightly inclined to the northeast slope of Montela Molassehügelland in the northern Vaud Mittelland.

The area of ​​only just 0.9 km ² large municipality area includes a portion of the hill country between Lake Neuchâtel and the Broyetal. The municipality is located on the northeast slope of the ground Montela, in the headwaters of Ruisseau de l' epena flowing in a small hollow in the hillside. History
