Ville Nousiainen

Ville Nousiainen ( born December 5, 1983 in Kouvola ) is a Finnish cross-country skiers.

He played his first World Cup race finish of the season 2002/2003. Since then, only one victory was in a FIS race over 10 km in Valkeakoski. Nousiainens best ever World Cup result was a second place in a 50 - km race in Rybinsk. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, he started while at a 50 -km race in which he, however, did not reach the target. The 2007 World Championships in Sapporo ended for him with a tenth place about 50 km. At the Tour de Ski 2006/2007 Ville Nousiainen reached a 23rd place.

The biggest success of his career was able to achieve at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec Nousiainen. Together with Sami Jauhojärvi he secured the bronze medal in the team sprint. Two days later, he secured together with Matti Heikkinen, Sami and Teemu Jauhojärvi Kattilakoski the bronze medal in the relay.
