Geography
Villenbach is located in the Region of Augsburg. Send Ried, Villenbach, Wengen, Demhart, Beuren: The municipal area following districts exist. Other villages in the municipality are living and Rischgau. Villenbach and Hausen be due to the co.
History
Villenbach belonged to the cathedral chapter of Augsburg ud was administered by Obervogt Office Zusamaltheim. Since the secularization of 1802/ 03 the place belongs to Bavaria.
Incorporations
On 1 May 1978, the formerly independent communities Ried Send and Wengen and parts of the disbanded community Hegnenbach were incorporated.

In the twelve-member council, the Free Wählergemeinschaft Villenbach - Rischgau -Hausen ( FWG VRH ) 8 and the Free Wählergemeinschaft Wengen -Ried Send ( FWG WR) 4 seats. (As at municipal election 2008).
The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of € 373,000 in 1999.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the manufacturing sector and 24 in the area of trade and transport any social insurance contributions at the workplace.
