The Uzdaroji akcinė bendrovė Vilniaus prekyba (Eng. ' Vilnius' trade ' ) is the largest Lithuanian Group. Heart of the company is the trade group "Maxima grupė ", which operates supermarkets of all sizes in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Bulgaria. Then there is the group of the pharmacy chains " Euroapotheca " with branches in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland (formerly also in Slovakia and Czech Republic) and UAB " Ermitažas ". History

The beginnings of " Vilniaus prekyba " lie in the years after independence from the Soviet Union from 1992 state-owned enterprises were privatized.
