Vilzsee

The Vilzsee located 6.8 km south of Mirow, in the south of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The Vilzsee is the most south-eastern lake in the south located from Mirow chain of lakes from Zotzensee, Mössensee, Vilzsee, Mirow Adlersee, Zethner Lake, Black Lake and Fehrlingsee.

Its east- west extent including Mirow Adlersee is approximately 3.6 km, its width begins in the east at 1000 meters and decreases westward to 200 meters. In the north of the lake is the forested peninsula Mirow Holm.

Inflows, the lake from the north and from the west the Mössensee Zethner the lake. He drains northeast across the Overbek to Rätzsee and to the east by a canal to the Great Peetschsee.
