Vincent Clerc

Vincent Clerc ( born May 7, 1981 in Échirolles, Isère ) is a French rugby player who plays on the position of the outer three- quarter.

Clerc began his career at FC Grenoble. In 2002 he moved to Stade Toulousain, where he still plays today. On November 9, 2002, he first played for the French rugby union national team against South Africa and was part of the banns for the Rugby Union World Cup 2007.

His greatest achievements include victories in the Heineken Cup in 2003, 2005 and 2010 with Stade Toulousain and winning the Six Nations tournament in 2004 and 2007.

In April 2008, Clerc was seriously injured at the knees and fell for several months. He returned in December and was nominated for the Six Nations 2009. He also participated in the 2011 World Championships, where he was one of the most successful French scorer.
