Vincenzo Silvano Casulli
Vincenzo Silvano Casulli (* 1944 also known under the name Silvano Casulli ) is an Italian amateur astronomer.
Casulli is a committed observer and discoverer of asteroids. He was the first amateur astronomer, who succeeded, with a CCD camera to obtain precise astrometric data of asteroids. In the years 1993 to 2004, the number of his discoveries amounted to 86 The asteroid ( 7132 ) Casulli is named after him.
In 1985, he worked in a group of amateur astronomers who could use the Hubble telescope for the observation and study of comets and asteroids.
