The neighboring municipalities are Belveglio, Castelnuovo Calcea, Cortiglione, Mombercelli, Nizza Monferrato and Vaglio Serra.

Specialty
In Vinchio vines of Barbera for the Barbera d'Asti, a DOCG red wine are grown with status, as well as for the Barbera del Monferrato.
