Vindeln

Vindeln is a place in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historic province of Västerbotten. Vindeln located 45 kilometers northwest of Umeå on the river Vindelälven. Vindeln is the capital of the municipality of the same name.

About ten kilometers north of the town, in the direction Hällnäs, located on the opposite bank of the Vindelälven a small airfield.
