Vinidarius

Vinidarius was the author of a small collection of recipes, under the title Excerpta Apici ( " Excerpts from Apicius " ) is known. The title refers to the famous, a Roman gourmet Apicius called attributed oldest Roman cookbook De re coquinaria ( "On cookery "). However, there is no epitome of this work and the overlap of the recipes are low.

About the author who wrote in the 5th century, is nothing more known. Maybe he was Goth.

The text survives in a designated as Codex Salmasianus Paris manuscript of the 8th century and is usually published as an appendix in the editions of De re coquinaria.
