Vinny Del Negro

Vincent " Vinny " Joseph Del Negro ( born August 9, 1966 in Springfield, Massachusetts) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. Among other things, the shooting guard for the San Antonio Spurs played in the American professional basketball league NBA. From 2008 to 2010 he was head coach of the Chicago Bulls. By the summer of 2013 he worked as head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Playing career

Vinny Del Negro was drafted in the NBA Draft in 1988 by the Sacramento Kings in 29th place. After just two seasons, he moved to Italy to Benetton Treviso.

In 1993 he went back to the NBA. He signed a contract as a free agent with the San Antonio Spurs, for whom he played for six years.

In February 1999 he was given as a free agent contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, but the charges him in June 2000 to the Golden State Warriors. But in January 2001 he was sent on. This time Vinny was traded to the Phoenix Suns.
