Vintilă Cossini

Vintilă Cossini ( born November 21, 1913 in Constanta, † 24 June 2000) was a Romanian football player, of Italian origin. He arrived in 163 encounters the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A, used and participated in the World Cup 1938.

Career

Cossini began playing football in his hometown of Constanta at Tricolor, which played into regional leagues. In 1933 he moved to CFR Bucharest (later Rapid Bucharest ), to whom he remained faithful to the end of his career in 1941. With Rapid Cossini won six times the Romanian Cup and was five times runner-up. The greatest success of the championship, but he never succeeded.

National

Cossini played 25 games for the Romanian national football team. He made his debut on June 17, 1935 against Yugoslavia. He stood in the squad Romania for the World Cup in France in 1938 and arrived there in the first game against Cuba for use.
