Viola Bauer

Viola Bauer ( born December 13, 1976 in Annaberg- Buchholz) is a former German cross-country skier. She is a certified social worker and sports soldier in the army.

Viola Bauer was considered a definite classical specialist and won at the 1999 World Cup bronze team at the 2002 Winter Olympics gold in the relay and bronze in the pursuit and at the 2003 World Championships gold in the relay. At the 2006 Winter Olympics they finished third in the team sprint together with Evi Sachenbacher floor and took fifth place with the German relay silver. Another silver medal she won in the relay at the 2007 World Championships in Sapporo.

On March 11, 2007, they celebrated with the third rank out of 10 km classic in Lahti best World Cup result of her career. Your last competition she denied on March 25, 2007 in Falun, where she was able to celebrate a victory with the German relay.
