Violeta Andrei
Violeta Andrei ( born March 21, 1941 in Braşov ) is a Romanian actress, who participated in several DEFA films.
Life
Andrei studied at the National University of Theatre and Film Arts " Ion Luca Caragiale " in Bucharest, then worked as a performer at various theaters in Romania, and eventually became a permanent member of the Sturdza - Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest. From the 1960s, followed by film and television productions. Andrei became one of the most famous actresses of the 1970s in Romania and also worked several times in the GDR for some DEFA feature films, such as Severino. In this film from 1978, she played on the side of Gojko Mitic the chief's daughter Maruja.
She was married to the former Romanian Foreign Minister Andrei Ştefan.
