Viorica Viscopoleanu

Viorica Viscopoleanu, born Viorica Belmega ( born August 8, 1939 in Budenez, Romania, today Rajon Storoschynez, Ukraine) is a former Romanian athlete. It was 1968 Olympic champion in the long jump.

Olympic games

Viorica Viscopoleanu took part in three Olympic Games and reached every time the Finale.1964 it reached 6.35 m in fifth place, with her eight inches were missing the bronze medal. In 1968, she jumped right in the first attempt of the finals with 6.82 m world record.
