The Vippach is an approximately 17 km long right tributary of the frames in the Thuringian Basin.
Course
The Vippach springs east of the city Neumark district Weimar area and flows in a westerly direction by Neumark and Vippachedelhausen. East of Vippachedelhausen opens the wolf creek that feeds the dam Vippachedelhausen. West follows the Vippach Markvippach, which already belongs to the district Sömmerda. The last spot on the river Schloßvippach is reached before the Vippach at Alperstedt opens from the right in the frames.
