Virgil van Dijk

Virgil van Dijk ( born July 8, 1991, Breda ) is a Dutch football player. The tall defender who is preferred in the Innenverteidung used, has been playing the 2013/14 season for the Scottish club Celtic tradition Glasgow.

Virgil van Dijk began his career at Willem II Tilburg from his home region of North Brabant, in the Breda is also his birthplace. In his youth, the defensive player transferred to FC Groningen. For the club van Dijk debuted as a professional under Pieter Huistra in the Eredivisie on 1 May 2011 against ADO Den Haag after he came off the bench for Petter Andersson.
