Virginia Field
Virginia Field ( * November 4, 1917 in London, England when Margaret Cynthia Field, † January 2, 1992 in Palm Desert, California ) was a British actress.
Life
Virginia Field was the daughter of the chief judge of Leichester and related through her mother to Robert Edward Lee. Field learned Acting in England and Vienna with Max Reinhardt. In 1934, she made her screen debut in The Primrose Path. David O. Selznick brought her for his film adaptation of Little Lord Fauntleroy, 1936 in the United States. Field became known that stood at 20th Century Fox under contract since 1937. Alongside Peter Lorre in the Mr. Moto films In addition to Vivien Leigh and Robert Taylor, she appeared in 1940 Her first husband. Later Field was mostly seen in television productions. Mid-1960s, she retired into private life.
Virginia Field has a star on the Walk of Fame (1751 Vine Street ). She was married from 1942 to 1946 with Paul Douglas. The marriage produced a daughter emerged. After the divorce, married the actress two more times. Virginia Field died at 74 years of cancer.
