Virginia Grey

Virginia Grey ( born March 22, 1917 in Los Angeles, † 31 July 2004 in Woodland Hills, California ) was an American actress.

Virginia Grey was born into a Hollywood family. Her father, Ray Grey was director of the pioneer days, but without having achieved greater success. Her mother was a film editor in Hollywood. Already ten years she played her first role in the silent film version of Uncle Tom's Cabin. After only a few children's roles, she left the film industry to end their school. As an adult she returned to Hollywood. Main roles they played mostly only in B - movies. Overall, they brought it but in the course of her career until 1970 to over 130 films. In the 1930s she was briefly romantically involved with Clark Gable. Grey died at the age of 87 of heart failure.
