Virginia Heffernan

Virginia Heffernan ( born August 8, 1969 in Hanover, New Hampshire) is an American journalist and television critic.

Life

Virginia Heffernan graduated from the University of Virginia and received her Masters in English Literature from Harvard University, where she also earned his doctorate in 2002. Her journalistic career began at the New Yorker. Later she worked at Harper 's Magazine, Slate and talk show before she became the television critic for the New York Times in September 2002. Since February 2012, she is mainly working for Yahoo! News.

Together with Mike Albo she published in 2005, the comic book The Underminer.
