Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is an art museum in Richmond.
The museum opened in 1936. Owners of the museum is the U.S. state of Virginia. The museum building was designed in 1934 by the American architect Merrill Lee.
1947, the collection of the American entrepreneur John Lee Pratt Museum. Included, among other things, five Fabergé eggs for this collection. From 1948 to 1968, Leslie Cheek, Jr., director of the museum.
