Virginio De Paoli

Virginio De Paoli (also Virginio Depaoli; born June 22, 1938 in Certosa di Pavia; † August 24, 2009 in Brescia ) was an Italian football player and coach.

Career

De Paoli played most of his career with Brescia Calcio. From 1966 to 1968 he was under contract at Juventus, where he 1966/67, under coach Heriberto Herrera by winning the Italian championship succeeded the only major success of his career.

1966 graduated from De Paoli three times by Italy. His debut celebrated on June 18, 1966 in a 1-0 victory against Austria, his last game for the Azzurri The forward played on 26 November of the same year in the 3-1 against Romania, where he succeeded his only scoring in the national jersey.

Virginio De Paoli died on 24 August 2009 after a long illness at the age 71 in Brescia.
