Viscounts of Narbonne
The viscounty Narbonne (French Vicomté de Narbonne ) was - within Septimaniens, Gothiens or the Duchy of Narbonne - the local government in and around Narbonne. It was ruled from the 10th to the mid 15th century by a family whose ownership was limited to this area.
1447 the Vice- county was sold to the Count of Foix, whose descendants it in 1507 to the French king Louis XII. ceded.

From 1134 to 1143, during the minority of the heir, was the vice- county of Narbonne, Alfonso, Count of Toulouse, busy. A coalition of regional nobles forced him in 1143 to return the vice- county.

End of 1192 drove Pedro de Lara, son of a half-sister Ermengarde, his aunt from Narbonne.

1424 inherited Viscount Guillaume II, even without descendants, the viscounty his half-brother from the second marriage of his mother, Pierre de Tinières.
House Grailly
1447 Narbonne was sold to Gaston IV, Count of Foix.
1507 was the Vice- county Narbonne to King Louis XII. ceded.
