Mixed set is the name given to wine, which is composed of different varieties of a vineyard.

In contrast to blend several varieties are grown here together and vinified according to the common reading together into grape must and fermented. Due to the varying levels of maturity and the different acidity of the grape varieties you originally wanted to minimize risk and ensure a consistent quality of wine. Desirable side effect is a significantly increased complexity of the final product. Today, the Joint set has mainly kept in the Austrian wine-growing region of Vienna and Styria ( there under the designation composite rate ) and is considered a specialty. In 2008, the Italian Slow Food organization took the Joint set up in the so-called Slow Food Ark of Taste and gave the product the Presidio seal. As part of the Presidio so far 134 projects (formerly called Presidia ) Slow Food is committed to the preservation of original production methods that are threatened with extinction.

Since 2011 there is a special name for the Vienna Joint Kit, which also the name and the quality characteristics are defined in a regulation. So at least three different varieties must be grown in a vineyard. The largest species share must not be higher than 50%. The Vienna Mixed set is always a white wine and consists of up to 20 different grape varieties. Among others are used: Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Neuburger, Gewurztraminer, Moscato Rosa, Jubiläumsrebe, Austrian white.

From the year 2013, the wine receives the quality award Districtus Austria Controllatus (DAC).
