Vivara

Vivara is a 0.4 km ² island in the Gulf of Naples, near Ischia and Procida southwest, with which it is connected by a bridge, and is one of the Phlegraean islands.
Etymology
The most likely origin is live from Latin vivarium, in the sense of place where animals.
Geography
The 35.63 -acre island has the shape of a half moon rising; the circumference is 3 km, the highest elevation in the center 110 m. The now uninhabited island is under administrative Procida. It lies in the Area naturale marina protetta Regno di Nettuno.
Geology
The volcanic origin is clear: it is the western edge of a crater formed by Procida, which is now mostly under water.
