Viveros de Coyoacán
Viveros de Coyoacán (Spanish for Nurseries Coyoacán ) is a 39 hectare park in the district of Coyoacán the Mexican capital Mexico City.
History
The park was built on land that was formerly part of Rancho Panzacola was and engineer Miguel Ángel de Quevedo (1862-1946) was donated.
In the 1930 's then Mexican President Lázaro Cárdenas del Río ( 1895-1970 ) declared the area a national park and established the first nursery in Mexico.
Presence
Part of the park is the nurseries and floriculture reserved. The rest of the parking area is available to the public.
