Vizianagaram district

Vizianagaram, also Vijayanagaram ( Telugu: విజయనగర o జిల్లా ) is one of 23 districts in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The administrative center is the city of Vizianagaram.

Geography

The district is located in the northeast of Andhra Pradesh. He is surrounded by the Bay of Bengal to the west by the district Visakhapatnam, on the north by the state of Odisha, in the east by Srikakulam district and in the south.. The coastline length is 28 km.
