Vladimir Belov (chess player)

Vladimir Sergeyevich Belov (Russian: Владимир Сергеевич Белов, born August 6, 1984 in Kirschatsch ) is a Russian chess master and chess coach.

Below learned to play chess at age six, when he was eleven was his coach Grandmaster Sergei Shipov. Below ended in 2006, the study of the subject chess at the Russian State University of Physical Culture in Moscow and works with some of the best chess players in Russia, but also with Nasi Paikidse from Georgia. He was the official commentator for the World Chess Championship 2006.

Below conquered or occupied top positions in many tournaments: 1st place at the Russian U -12 Championship in Volgograd (1996 ), 2nd place in the Kasparov Cup in Moscow (2000 ), 3rd place in the Russian U-18 Championship in dagomys (2002), 1st place in the Open in Kavala (2004 ), 1st place in the Masters Open in Hastings ( 2004/2005 ), 1st place at the 20th North Sea Cup in Esbjerg (2005 ), 1st place in the Championship from Moscow ( 2007), 1st place in the MTO Open in Biel 2008, 1st place in the Open in Zvenigorod (2008) and 1st place at the 16th Chigorin Memorial in St. Petersburg ( 2008).
