Vladimir Golikov

Vladimir Nikolayevich Golikov (Russian: Владимир Николаевич Голиков; born June 20, 1954 in Penza, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player.

Career

During his career he played for HK Dynamo Moscow. In all, he scored 172 goals in 435 games in the Soviet league. Early on, he was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On March 23, 1976, he was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the silver medal at the Olympic Winter Games 1980 ( Miracle on Ice). For the national team, he scored 54 goals in 129 internationals. On April 4, 1983 he played his last international match. In 1978 he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame".
