Vladimir Smirnov (businessman)

Vladimir Alexeyevich Smirnov (Russian: Владимир Алексеевич Смирнов; born January 29, 1957 in Pskov ) is a Russian businessman.

Life

He completed a course of study with a focus on electro-mechanical engineering for the production of aeronautical engineering in 1980 at the Leningrad Institute and a doctorate in the fields of Engineering ( 1986) and Economics ( 2000).

Since 2008 he is member of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Nazionalny Kosmitscheski Bank. Smirnov is the author of ten inventions and author of 45 scientific works. In 1990 he founded a joint venture in St. Petersburg with a German partner, the developer Inform Future. The company has set up in the city the first office complex for foreign companies. During his time in TENEX Smirnov began a sponsorship program whose content was the promotion of nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and environmental commitment on the part of Russia and social associations.
