Vladimir Suchánek

Vladimír Suchánek ( born February 12, 1933, Nove Mesto nad Metují ) is a Czech stamp artist. As a graphic artist he created numerous bookplates for domestic and foreign Ex-libris as color lithographs.

In 1954, he earned a degree from the College of Education in Prague and in 1961 graduated from the Prague Academy of Arts.

The former musician with other stamp artists even had his own band called Grafièanka, death of St. Adalbert created several stamps for the Czech Republic, but was also the designer of the Community Edition to 1000th in 1997, also in Poland, Hungary, Vatican City State and Germany was issued.

In addition, he was chairman of the HOLLAR Association of graphic artists in the Czech Republic.
