Vladimir Vysotskiy (Admiral)

Vladimir Sergeyevich Vysotsky (Russian: Владимир Сергеевич Высоцкий; born August 18, 1954 in Komarno, Lviv Oblast ) is a Russian admiral and former commander in chief of the Russian naval fleet.

Life

Vysotsky graduated in 1971 from the Leningrad Nakhimov Officer Academy, and in 1976 the Black Sea Officer Academy PS Nakhimov in Sevastopol. Subsequently, he served as a combat section commander for anti-submarine in the Pacific Fleet, was second officer on the cruiser Admiral Senjawin and later the first officer on the guided missile cruiser Sevastopol in a row.

In 1982 he graduated from specialized courses for naval officers and then was first officer on the flight deck cruiser Minsk.
