Vladislav Bogićević

Vladislav " Bogie " Bogićević ( Serbian Cyrillic Владислав Богићевић; born November 7, 1950 in Belgrade ) is a former Yugoslav football player.

The midfielder Bogićević began his career at Red Star Belgrade and belonged in the 1970s to the root of the Yugoslav national football team. He took with Yugoslavia participated in the World Cup 1974 in Germany and played five of the six games. After Yugoslavia had failed to Spain in qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 1978, Bogićević ended after 47 caps his career with the national team and in 1978 moved to the NASL New York Cosmos, where he played alongside Franz Beckenbauer. Bogićević played until his retirement in late 1984 in New York and made himself primarily as a game designer and rigger for the Italian striker Giorgio Chinaglia a name.
