Vlado Å ola

Vlado Šola ( born November 17, 1968 in Prisoje Tomislav Grad / Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian handball player. Its body length is 1.96 m.

Šola, who last played for the Croatian top club RK Zagreb and the Croatian aground Men's national handball team, was handball goalkeeper.

Vlado SOLAS family moved soon after his birth Sesvetski Kraljevec, a district of Zagreb. When there Budućnost Sesvetskog Kraljevca Šola started with the hand ball game. Finally, he made his debut for the RK Medveščak Zagreb in the first Yugoslav League, later he moved to RK Sisak. 1996 took him to the German Bundesliga club GWD Minden under contract; this Šola was the first handball player who benefited from the Bosman ruling. In 1998 he moved on to the second division SG Willstätt / Schutterwald with which he ascended into the 1st Handball Bundesliga 1999. In 2002 he moved to Chambéry Savoie HB to France, in 2004 the Hungarian club MKB top Vesprem, with whom he won the Hungarian championship and the 2005 Hungarian Cup in 2005 and 2006. In 2006 he returned to his homeland, this time for RK Zagreb, where he again won the national championship and Cup 2007 and 2008. By 2008 Šola left end his career.

Vlado Šola has denied in his career over 130 caps for the Croatian men's national handball team. On his land he was at the Men's Handball World Championship for Men 2003 World Championship in Portugal, at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 Olympic champion. At the 1995 World Championships in Iceland and in Tunisia in 2005, he won two silver medals in 2007 in Germany, he is missing due to injury.

Šola was mainly due to its rust - red colored hair, brought in in Germany earned him the nickname Pumuckl known. Today Vlado Šola is goalkeeper coach of the Croatian national handball team.

Since March 2009 he has been an assistant coach and sports director for RK Zagreb.
