The Vogelkarspitze is a 2522 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Karwendel on the border between Bavaria and Tyrol. It is the second highest peak in the Northern Karwendel chain. The first ascent was made by Hermann von Barth on 4 July 1870.

The summit can be reached in a partially roadless and alpine experience presupposing mountain tour from Karwendelhaus (1771 m above sea level. A. ) in 2.5 hours. A somewhat difficult -to-find alley through a thick stone pine belt gives an access to the foot of Vogelkars. Next, the unlabelled rise above the partly grassy, partly rock penetrated south ridge runs to the summit. Chance to be overcome small rock in paragraphs I. Difficulty ( UIAA ). The route is technically easy to walk, but because of its steepness especially in wet conditions dangerous.

The total walking time of the next valley villages is 7 hours of Scharnitz and 6 hours of Hinterriß on local maple floor. Therefore, usually a two-day tour with overnight stay in Karwendelhaus or the journey is preferred by mountain bike.
