Although the community Karsee was until 1952 the district of Vogt, Vogt was a church until 1808 as curate ( Fillialpfarrei ) to the parish Karsee. The around 1500, on the boundary of the estate Stüber vorm Wald (today, striking Allgäu pharmacy ) built chapel was consecrated in 1808 as the parish church. By the Imperial Deputation of 1803 churches and monasteries were expropriated by the state in the context of secularization. 1833 was the demolition of the now become much too small chapel in its place the present parish church of St. Anna in the Tax Chamber style was (ie financed by the then Kingdom of Württemberg ) built in four years of construction. In the term of office of priest Maximilian Hess was 1977/78 modernized. Contrary to the former trend of the Second Vatican Council for the comprehensive modernization of the high altar was at the instigation of the heritage authority largely left and moved essentially only backwards against the wall. The thus obtained in the choir room space was used for additional altar table, a people's altar of modern design. This altar table below is the modern liturgy usually the main nave of the church, so therefore facing the church and inspired by the style of the existing altars. The pulpit was in Vogt, unlike in many churches where the - Zeitgeist following - the pulpits were dismantled, leaving as do the two side altars, but it is not even from liturgical reasons in use. The liturgical reform and the installation of modern sound systems made the raised position of pulpits no longer necessary. Several key objectives of this reform were implemented: the language was changed from Latin to German and the pastor designed the service now at eye level facing the community. In retrospect, the then modernization is generally referred to as "very good compromise " from constructional inventory and demand of modern liturgical order in the community.

The relocation of the traffic- unfavorable side entrance from Church Street to the north-west side with a new generous entrance hall, heating modernization, conversion of Geläuts on radio clock, a new sacristy cultivation, organ and choir design made likewise. The design of the Nordhofs the church, a structural opening of the soldiers monument at the eastern end of the church ( an additional, second war memorial was created in the mid-1980s on the new forest cemetery), traffic calming Church Street, modernization and conversion of the building built in 1777 historic rectory were part of a whole village modernization in coordination with the local government Vogt.
