The Wolf Volcano (Spanish Volcán Wolf) is with 1707 m the highest peak on the island of Isabela and overall the highest mountain in the Galápagos Islands. Named the volcano is named after the German geologist and botanist Theodor Wolf, the end of the 19th century, the Galapagos Islands explored scientifically.

Wolf is the northernmost of six volcanoes that form the island of Isabela. The shield volcano is dominated by a steep-walled caldera with a diameter of 6 x 7 kilometers and a maximum depth of 700 meters. Within the Galápagos Islands has only the Cerro Azul in the south of Isabela with 650 m, a similar deep caldera. Wolf is an active volcano whose eruption first registered in 1797 and the last time being in 1982 took place.
