Volga -Dnepr Airlines is a Russian cargo airline based and home base in Ulyanovsk and other surgery centers in Krasnoyarsk and Leipzig / Halle. She is on transports with the Antonov An-124, the world's third largest aircraft specializing.

History

Founding and first years

Volga -Dnepr Airlines was founded in August 1990 by the three largest shareholders share Aviastar, Antonov Design Bureau and Motor Sich and became fully operational in October 1991. She became the first carrier in Russia, which was not a part of Aeroflot.
