Volkan Altın

Volkan Altın ( born August 10, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German footballer of Turkish descent and currently plays for Antalyaspor in the Turkcell Süper Lig The defensive midfielder has next to the German nationality and the Turkey.

Career

Volkan Altın began his career in the youth teams of Trakyaspor Berlin, Brandenburg FC 03 and Tennis Borussia Berlin. In summer 2002, he moved to the coached by Dirk Kunert B youth of Hertha BSC, with whom he became German champion in the 2002/2003 season with a 4-1 win over VfB Stuttgart. In the season 2003/2004 he won with the A- youth of the club the DFB Junior Club Cup in 2004 with a 5-0 win against the SGV Freiberg. During his youth at Hertha he was also nominated several times in youth teams of the DFB and came to a total of ten missions in national youth teams.

2005 Altın moved on to the U-23 team of Hertha BSC and he came in the Regionalliga Nord in five appearances. In summer 2006 he decided because of the low use time to a league- internal change to BSV Kickers Emden, for he came to 31 league games. At season's end he left Emden again and joined shortly before the transfer deadline Southern regional league SV Sandhausen at, for which he ( 2 goals) came to 17 inserts. After his contract was not renewed at Sandhausen, he moved to the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor. After the expiration of his contract and only ten short inserts in the Süper Lig, he joined in July 2011 for newly promoted Orduspor, which, however, two months later separated from it. Altın found in the third division Altay Izmir a new employer for whom he made his debut on 19 September 2011 at the game against Corumspor when he came on in the 88.Spielminute for Mustafa Cevahir.
