Volker Bengl
Volker Bengl ( born July 19, 1960 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German singer (tenor ).
Life
Bengl first completed an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory assistant, before he came to singing with twenty years. He studied singing at the Conservatory of Music Mannheim / Heidelberg and took private lessons with Rudolf Schock incidentally, Rina del Monaco and Erika Köth. Over 16 Years Volker Bengl was engaged at the State Theatre in Munich on Gaertnerplatz. In addition, he was and is host to more than 50 theaters in Germany, such as at the Vienna Volksoper, the German Opera Berlin or at the Dresden Semperoper. His repertoire includes some 75 operas and operetta roles. He has given 800 concerts worldwide.
