Volker Danner
Volker Danner ( born August 21, 1942 † 14 March 2005 in Wesel ) was a German football goalkeeper. From 1963 to 1973, he studied for the clubs 1.FC Saarbrücken, Borussia Mönchengladbach and MSV Duisburg total of 180 games in the Bundesliga.
Career
With 19 years of responsive, smooth and sharp strong goalkeeper made his debut at the 1 FC Saarbrücken in the Football Oberliga West. At his debut in the league on October 1, 1961 against SC Ludwigshafen, Werner " Dad " Hesse conducted the defense in front of the young talent of the Saarland.
