VolkerWessels

Volker Wessels is a Dutch construction, which goes back to a predecessor of 1854. In 1978, the Company completed the Stevin Groep Volker Stevin to together in 1997 with the Volker Wessels Stevin to Kondor Wessels. The company name was changed to Volker Wessels 2002. It is the second largest Dutch construction company BAM after the group. The owners are the family Wessels ( 42.5%), CVC Capital Partners ( 42.5%) and the leading staff (15 %).

Structures

The company has constructed famous buildings such as the Oosterschelde storm surge barrier or the Millennium Bridge Newcastle - Gateshead.

VSMC

The Seekabelverleger Visser & Smit Marine Contracting is a 50 % subsidiary of Volker Wessels. The other half of the shares belongs Boskalis.
