Volkswagen Delivery

The VW Delivery is a light truck model series of the Volkswagen Trucks and Buses, which is produced by the truck manufacturer MAN Latin America for the South American market. It is in the VW Delivery to a modern version of the VW L80, which was manufactured between 1995 and 2000 in Brazil. The cab of the VW Delivery was derived from the cab of the VW LT. History

In 1994, the common MAN -VW series ended, it was decided by VW, the market for 7.5 -tonners its own light trucks for sale. Thus, it was offered as a VW L80 and in South America as a delivery between 1995 and 2000 the made ​​in Brazil trucks in Europe. While the sales of the VW L80 in Europe was stopped in 2000 due to lack of demand, the delivery for South America is built today.

In Argentina, the launch took place in 1998, together with that of the VW worker held under the uniform naming of the VW Nueva Línea. As in Brazil in 2002 then finally the new VW Titan was launched, it had set the export of trucks to Argentina. Two years later, the export was also resumed to Argentina. There, the model was marketed in this version as VW Livianos. The old version, however, will still continue to be produced, but are now more housed in the model range of the worker as its entry-level versions. Technology

All vehicles of the current series have high-speed, electronically controlled turbo diesel engines with Euro III standard. The wheelbase varies depending on chassis. Compared to the predecessor model VW L80 the cab received a new interior and exterior design.
