Volkswagen Worker
The VW worker is a medium-duty truck model series of the Volkswagen Trucks and Buses, which is produced by the truck manufacturer MAN Latin America for the South American market. It is based in large parts on components of the VW L80 or the former MAN -VW VW G90 series. The production is Resende plant in Brazil.

Motorsport
In the season of 2004 and 2005, VW went to in Germany in truck races to the FIA Super Race Truck Series. Here, the cabin of the VW worker was used for the race truck. The car weighed 4.8 tons and had a 1300 hp six-cylinder diesel engine with a twelve- liter engine mounted amidships behind coming from the VW LT cab. In both years, VW won the league title with the drivers Markus Oestreich and Ralf Müller pressure. Partner of the Wolfsburg manufacturer was the German Post World Net Truck team.
