Volodymyr Onyshchenko

Volodymyr Iwanowytsch Onyschtschenko (Ukrainian Володимир Іванович Онищенко; born October 28, 1949 in the village Stechanka in the Kiev Oblast, Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Soviet- Ukrainian football player and later a football coach.

Onyschtschenko played from 1962 in the youth teams of Dynamo Kiev. From 1970 to 1978 he played in the first team this association, interrupted by two seasons ( 1972-1973 ) in which he played for Zorya Woroschilowgrad.

With Dynamo Kiev striker won the 1971, 1974, 1975 and 1977, the Soviet championship and in the seasons 1974 and 1978 and the Soviet Cup. With Woroschilowgrad he won the Soviet Cup in 1972 also.

In the season 1974/1975 Onyschtschenko won with Dynamo Kiev Europa Cup Winners' Cup. In the final against Ferencvaros Budapest, he contributed two goals in a 3-0 draw. In the same year Dynamo won against Bayern Munich and the UEFA Super Cup, Onyschtschenko came in the second leg in Kiev for use.

Between 1972 and 1977, he completed a total of 44 games for the Soviet national team, scoring 11 goals. In the finals of the European Football Championship 1972, he was with the Soviet team in the finals to eventual winners Germany. Onyschtschenko took the Olympic selection part in the football tournament of the 1972 and 1976 Olympics and won with the Soviet team bronze medals.

After his playing career, he was a long time member of the coaching staff of Dynamo Kiev, between 1999 and 2001 he coached the U -21 national team of Ukraine.
