The Vologda (Russian Вологда ) is a right tributary of the Sukhona in Russia's Vologda Oblast.

It has its source in the west of Vologda Rajon. From there it flows in a northerly direction, reaches the Rajon Scheksna, then turns southwest and returns to Rajon Vologda. The Valley of the Vologda is highly populated. Above the city of Vologda, the river takes on the Toschnja from the right and turns to the east. After flowing through the city, the river flows in a north-easterly direction, passes it a sparsely populated marshland and finally reached at the settlement Ust- Wologdskoje the Sukhona.

The Vologda has a length of 155 km and has a catchment area of 3,030 km ².
