The VolP is a river in France, which runs in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It rises in the Regional Natural Park Pyrenees Ariégeoises, in the municipality of Lescure, drained initially in a westerly direction, then turns to the north and northwest and ends after a total of 40 kilometers in the dam area of Retenue de Labrioulette, in the municipality of Gensac -sur -Garonne, a right tributary into the Garonne. In the municipality of Montesquieu- Aventès the VolP seeps into the ground and comes only after around 800 meters as a karst spring back to the surface. On its way, the river crosses the departments of Ariège and Haute -Garonne.
