Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana
The Valencia Tour or Vuelta a Valencia was a Spanish stage race for cyclists in the autonomous community of Valencia. The tour belonged since 2005 UCI Europe Tour and was the middle of February annually. She was classified in category 2.1.
In 2009, no discharge took place as a result of the difficult economic situation in Spain, no sponsors willing to support found. The regional bank Bancaja had retired as a former patron of the previous 29 contests. Further attempts to call the tour at least as part of the UCI Europe Tour 2011 back to life, also failed due to the sponsors question. Subsequently, the organizers considered a new attempt for the 2012 season, which was, however, also not successful.
