The Volvo PV51 ( and its variants to PV 57) is a passenger car that was built by Volvo in the years 1936 to 1945. He solved the PV from 650-659 series.
The car was powered by a ³ six-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 3670 cm, the (63 kW) made 86 hp. Usually it was delivered as a four-door sedan, but there were also convertibles, ambulances and vans.
The original models PV 51 and PV 52 was available from 1936 until 1938. In the fall of 1938, the updated models appeared PV 53 to PV 57

- PV 57: Chassis. From 1938 to 1945. 275 pieces.
The production was also during the Second World War, in which Sweden did not participate, continued. However, the numbers decreased due to the lack of material, which was also felt in Sweden.
1946 this series were eventually replaced by the Volvo PV60.
