Voortrekkers (youth organisation)

The Voortrekkers are an active in South Africa and Namibia Christian Youth Association, which was founded in 1931 as an alternative to the ( English ) Boy Scouts. They were named after the name of the Boer Voortrekker pioneers.

Their three cornerstones defines the organization with its " ABC": Afrikanerskap, Burgerskap, Christenskap, so Afrikaanertum, bourgeoisie and Christianity.
